In 1845, explorer Sir John Franklin set sail from England with two ships in search of a Northwest Passage. The ships and crews vanished, and many search expeditions set sail to try to find them. In September 2014, an expedition led by Parks Canada discovered the wreck of HMS Erebus. A second breakthrough happened in September 2016, when HMS Terror was found. These postcards share a bit of the story of the Franklin Expedition and many unfolding discoveries.

The chairs are made in Canada and sit deep with a contoured seat and back for maximum comfort. These chairs and table are fade resistant, completely waterproof so they never need indoor storage, and all stainless steel hardware will never rust or corrode. The chairs can withstand up to 1,000 lbs and are made from 100% HDPE recycled plastic from Canadian landfills. Each chair is decorated with two beaver symbols engraved and epoxy filled in white (one beaver on the back side of the chair and the second beaver on the outer left/right side of the back of the chair). When connected to two of the Adirondack chairs, the table can withstand up to 200 lbs. There is no branding on this table. The manufacturer’s warranty is offered to the original purchaser for a period of five (5) years for commercial use starting from the date of purchase. This warranty covers any defects in the manufacturing and workmanship of the furniture components. ** What to avoid: Pressure Washer. When nozzle is placed too close to the plastic it could chew/fray the plastic leaving a fuzzy look to the plastic and allowing atmospheric dirt and particles to get inside the plastic. Over time the furniture looks dirty and will never clean to its original look.
